Timing: At A Specific Time
When you select "at a specific time" from the timing dropdown, you will be able to pick a future time to send your broadcast.
- Send on: the date and time for your broadcast will get sent. This must be a time in the future.
Timing: On A Repeat Schedule (Repeating Broadcasts)
Sometimes you want to set up a broadcast that goes out on a recurring basis. This is ideal for things like newsletters, periodic reminders, or reengaging a part of your audience that hasn't interacted with your bot in a while.
When you select "on a schedule" from the timing dropdown, you will be able to pick the recurring schedule for your broadcast.
- Start on: the date and time for your first broadcast. This must be a time in the future.
- Repeats: the repetition interval for your broadcast. This is either daily, weekly, or monthly.
- Ends: choose "never" for broadcasts with no defined end date, "on date" to specify the date of the last broadcast, or "after" to limit the total number of broadcasts that should be sent.
Note that after choosing an interval, you can see the date and time of the first scheduled broadcast above the "Schedule" button.
