Deploy to Slack
Go to the Slack Apps page and log in or sign up. Click Create New App, name your new App, and choose your Slack Workspace.
Scroll down on your App’s Basic Information page, scroll down to App Credentials find your Client ID and Client Secret and paste them into Dexter.
Go to the OAuth & Permissions on the left sidebar and enter
https://bots.rundexter.com/as your Redirect URL. Click Save URLs.
Go to the Bot Users section and add a bot user for your app. Click Add Bot User to save.
Go to Event Subscriptions and toggle the slider for Enable Events. Copy and paste your Event Subscription Request URL. You should see the green Verified when it’s done.
Add the Bot Events you want your bot to cover. You want
message.mpim. Click Save Changes.
Toggle Deploy. Your bot is live!
You can click the Add to Slack button to add your bot to your team or copy the embed HTML for your website.
