Unprocessed Responses

If you ever want Dexter to ignore a part of your script while processing a response, you should use the <raw></raw> unprocessed response delimeters. This is particularly useful when you are doing something like making a bot to teach others how to build bots or needing to pass in script constructs in a shortcode, such as ^reminder().

+ [*] topics [*]
- Say this to change topics: <raw>{topic=newtopic}</raw>

With Reminders, you can use unprocessed responses to pass in actual script constructs into a shortcode:

+ remind me of something
- ^reminder(complex_reminder, "<raw>{topic=reminder}{@reminder}</raw>", <call>makeReminderTime</call>)
